Funding for this project was provided through a Growing Greener Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The intent of this project is to demonstrate environmentally-friendly methods of managing stormwater runoff as a resource rather than as a waste product.

The information provided in the fact sheets is adapted from the Pennsylvania Stormwater BMP manual, produced by PA DEP. Please note that BMP design should be completed by an engineer or design professional, taking into consideration the individual characteristics of each site to ensure proper functioning of each BMP.
